Diana Robinson, LMHC
Find your strengths in the "HERE and NOW"!
Be being Kind and Gentle with Yourself! How can you love others if you don't love yourself first? You are worthy of love and attention. Our innate being can often be suppressed by stress, doubt, or pain. You are PRECIOUS and IRREPLACEABLE!
Therapy isn't about 'fixing' oneself; rather a journey from insight to integration, a recovery of what you may have lost along the way, finding a practice of gentleness, and a return to wholeness. Therapy is about creating a sense of your own story.
I invite you to take hold of this chance on yourself on this journey inward into self-discovery. Taking this leap to own your story will improve your relationships with yourself and others.
My intention is to help you alter any unwanted habits or patterns as we collaboratively explore alternative ways to manage your mind, regulate your nervous system, and attend to your body with self-love and acceptance.
I am passionate about working with individuals who feel stunted by the lingering impact of anxiety, depression, trauma, LGBTQ+ Identity issues, and early childhood relational wounding.
I utilize person-centered principles, CBT, a mindfulness lens and combine evidence-based practices with somatic-based modalities in my work with clients. I am a strong believer in your inherent capacity to heal and overcome challenges.
For those that decide to start their healing journey with me, I strive to meet you where you are, show up authentically, and radiate a grounded and non-judgmental safe space. Additionally, as a queer-identifying person, I create a safe space for those that identify with the LGBTQIA2S+ and Gender, Sexuality, and Relationship Diverse community.
A Committed Therapist
After digging through my wounds I have committed to a life of constant self-work. This continued transformational process alongside a powerful therapeutic structure allows me to be ready and able to help you with your metamorphosis.
Through my personal life experiences and work, I have learned that the healing process can be messy and rarely linear. It can be hard to navigate through alone! As I guide you through it, you will find that your inner work starts with you.
